deadPixels² is an experimental multiplayer game blending competition, cooperation, and creativity for 2 to 8 players. Armed with twin-stick gamepads, players control square avatars on a pristine, white canvas. Moving their avatars paints the canvas in their team’s color, and when a closed shape is drawn, it automatically fills with color. However, overlapping colors result in irreversible black "dead pixels," introducing a strategic layer to the vibrant chaos. The game concludes after 99 seconds or when the canvas is completely covered. The team with the largest area claimed emerges victorious. Designed to offer both tactical depth and a dynamic artistic experience, deadPixels² is more than a game—it’s a collaborative painting tool projected onto a real canvas mounted on an easel. Often showcased alongside L'Atlas des Matrices, it provides players and spectators alike with a mesmerizing blend of art and play.

deadPixels² is a porting for gamepad of Dead Pixels.
